Hook version 1.3.1 (build 2892) is now available

Version 1.3.1 (build 2892) of the Hook productivity app for macOS is now available. This one is a maintenance release with three changes.

The changes are available via Hook’s in-app update mechanism and Hook’s Download page .

Fixed

  • Fixed a crash that would occur if one typed ⌃L when the Title bar item has no links. (^L is a shortcut that exposes the Link menu next to the currently selected link.)
  • The Hook status bar no longer states “No linkable item in Bear” when a well-formed bear:// link is in the clipboard.

New integrations

  • Hook now supports the VNote editor.

Out of the box

Hook works with Libre Office out of the box. “Link to New” > “Libre Office” will be in the next release. But if you want it today, just add Libre Office documents in your Hook notes template folder. The folder is accessible via Hook > Preferences > Notes , and from Finder: ~/Documents/Hook/templates/custom templates. See this Hook productivity forum topic.
