Ithoughtsx not particularly Hook-friendly

… or am I missing something?

iThoughtsX, my current go-to diagrammer, is listed on Hookmark’s link-friendly Mac app page https://hookproductivity.com/what-mac-apps-are-compatible-with-hook-app/

But Hookmark doesn’t natively link to individual nodes (despite the rather cumbersome workaround here iThoughtsX: linking to specific nodes in a mindmap)

Am I missing something? Shouldn’t the “Hookmark-friendly” list include exclusively those apps that truley are?

We’ve tried to keep it simple. Deep linking is an additional level of support. The Manifesto for Ubiquitous Linking does request deep linking when applicable. iThoughts X does not have an API to get the information but there is a UI for it. However, users can get that address from iThoughts X and then use Hookmark’s Focus on Link in Clipboard command.
