Will Rebuilding DEVONthink Database Affect Hook Links?

Hi everyone,

I’m considering a database rebuild for my DEVONthink, where I have a mix of externally linked media files and documents/articles imported directly via the browser extension.

  1. Will rebuilding the database break these Hook links?
  2. Has anyone experienced issues with Hook links after a database rebuild?

Any guidance or personal experiences you could share would be greatly appreciated!

If rebuilding the database does not change Devonthink documents’ URL, then Hookmark links will be intact after rebuilding the database.

I think it is better to get the answer from the Devonthink developers, though my test on a testing database seems OK. The Hookmark links are not broken after rebuilding the database.
