If you copy link from a different document, do you see a different result?
Could you post the link of the first document here?
Also could you please put the mouse pointer over the paste button and wait several secs? The tooltip will show. Could you please post the text in tooltip?

I tried copy as markdown format and paste (Cmd V) to folder. It works!
Why there is a ‘Copy link (Cmd C)’ option? It looks useless.
It seems “Copy Link” does not copy the link to the clipboard.
Did you use shortcut or click on the “Copy Link” menu item?
If you do “Copy Link” for this web page and paste it in a editor, does it work?

I’m using just click on the “copy link” menu item. Because it doesn’t work sometimes.
If I copy this web page, it just copy the title of the page not address such as “Why I can’t hook my files? - Bug Reports - Hookmark Forum”

In which app did you do the paste? If you paste in TextEditor, what do you get?

Folder in a Mac Finder
Could you please let us know your Hookmark version(in Hookmark about window) and macOS version? I will try to reproduce the problem on my Mac.
Also, do you have any clipboard manager running?

Here are my Hookmark Ver and MacOS Ver:
- Hookmark version 6.0.1 (5788) (Scripts version 299).
- macOS Ventura 13.6.1
I’m using third party clipboard manager: https://pasteapp.io/
I tried turning it off and using the hook, but it’s still the same. So I don’t think this is the problem.

I just tried Pasteapp and Hookmark works fine with it. I can see both title and URL for a bookmark.
If you do Hookmark “Copy Link”, then open Pasteapp, what’s in the pasteboard?
Does it only show title of the bookmark?
