Version 192 of Hook’s software integration scripts is now available.
- We’ve updated Hook to work with recent releases of nvUltra of @ttscoff.
- We’ve made updates for Firefox, Firefox Nightly and Firefox Developer Edition. Hook now works more reliably with these apps which unlike the other major browsers do not have an API for linking, so Hook must use UI scripting to interact with them.
If you are using Firefox Nightly or Firefox Developer Edition, for the script to work best, you need to configure them with
about:config to set accessibility.force_disabled to -1.
Firefox has accessibility.force_disabled set to -1 by default, which is good.
Hook Pro users can peer into the new software integration..
How to get the updated integration
Hook’s automatic software update (if enabled) automatically updates Hook’s integration scripts without you needing to relaunch Hook. Using Hook’s Check for App Updates and Update Scripts command also updates the scripts, without you needing to relaunch Hook.
This requires a valid Updates license.
