I’ve just discovered (but I may be late to the party) that Chrome (and Arc) allows you to highlight text on a web page and, by right-clicking, to “copy link to highlight”. This link is a normal link to the page with a specially formatted anchor.
In referencing long winded manuals, this is invaluable for me in taking notes for my user help-desk.
Unfortunately it seems that the action is only available through the right-click action : no menu item;
So I’m not even sure if GUI Scripting is an option.
Has anybody looked into this?
