Use with MySQL or shell scripts?

I would simply try this in the free demo version, but it apparently doesn’t include custom extensions and scripting.

I do a lot of MariaDB database work, and use it as a general information store. I use various GUIs for this (notably Sequel Pro and Querious) but also use it from bash or Ruby or Python scripts.

I would love to be able to select a field containing a URL (or a Hookmark link?) and be able to quickly go to that link via a contextual menu item or a hot key.

Is this something Hookmark can easily do?

Thanks

Welcome to Hookmark forum, @JanSteinman .

Is this link in any document? Do you want to open the link in Hookmark window or its default opening application?

Thank you

Well, to begin with, I would like to be able to open file paths in the Finder or in their default application wherever text can be selected. For instance, here in Sequel Pro:

Hookmark currently doesn’t have this function. However, it seems you could achieve it using an AppleScript (or another type of script) and assign a shortcut to it.
