Usability tip - In Finder, how to spot which files have hooks

When I’m scanning a list of files in Finder, I’ve often wondered which ones have “hooks”. Here’ s my solution:

Step 1: In Hookmark settings, select “tags” and “Apply Hookmark Finder tag to files when hooking them together”. This creates a Finder tag “Hookmark” for any file that is hooked to something else.

Step 2: Open Finder, expand the list of tags on the lower left of the screen. Right click on the Hookmark tag and select a colour of your choice.

Result: Voila! In the finder, any hooked files will now have a coloured dot beside them - at a glance you can see which files are hooked to something.
