Universal Links Not Working on Mobile

Steps to Reproduce:

  1. Create universal link (ex: Things)
  2. Paste universal link into 3rd party app (ex: Capacities)
  3. Select the universal link
  4. Hookmark auto-launches
  5. Safari tab opens with the following message: “It looks like you have clicked on a universal link but are using a web browser other than Safari …”.

Notes:

  • The universal link works fine on macOS
  • The error message occurs irrespective of the app that the universal link is too

I’ve updated to the RC of both macOS and iOS 26 and universal links are still not working. Thanks!

Was this ever resolved? Universal links started working at one point but are no longer working for me. Love the idea; hate the execution…

I just tried the universal link for email, and it seems to be working fine.
