Transfer Custom Scripts? Simpler Export/Import?

Maybe this is already settled with the current version, but I’m transferring from 2.2.2 to a new computer and I wish the process was simpler. Specifically, I’m not seeing a simple way to transfer custom scripts. I’ve also tried copying relevant files in ~/Library, but it doesn’t seem to work.

Ideally, I’d like the sync feature to handle this or have a single export/import function that handles preferences, links, scripts, and any other relevant files. Thanks!

I agree. For now, the trick is to transfer ~/Library/Application\ Support/com.cogsciapps.hook/AppAppleScript.plist to the new Mac. As long as the user names are the same, this should work. We will look at relaxing that requirement.

Interesting. I did copy the Hook folder in “Application Support” when I did the transfer but my scripts were not there even with the same username. I ended up copying each script manually but I look forward to these features being added to Hook. Thanks for the reply!
