Tip! Linking Obsidian notes to almost anything with Hookmark: a screencast

Obsidian is marketed by Nic Milo as a tool for linking your thinking, which makes sense. But without Hookmark its bidirectional links are just to Obsidian notes, or pasted unidirectional links. So here’s a screencast on linking Obsidian notes to anything that has a URL:

I’m using both apps and it’s great.

However, hookmark doesn’t work with obsidian in multiple windows:

Hey Luc, another Beaudoin here. GREAT video – very helpful! It would be even more useful (to me) if you could extend this with a demonstration of how an Obsidian user might create a Hookmark note template — in order to include some standard properties or text in the resulting markdown note. I tried to figure it out from a two year-old conversation here but came up empty. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
