If you’re looking for an easy way to note down how far you watched longer videos (online or offline), you can use Hookmark.
Just invoke Hookmark and copy the link, then rename it, e.g. “Watched: 13:44 - [regular title]”
I haven’t found an easier way to mark this info down.
