iCloud synchronisation between the iPhone app PAL and the desktop is not functioning correctly. Deleting links on both sides has no effect. Also changing the Titel of a link will not work. Only creating new links works. Please fix this, as it is currently unusable.
Yes, that sounds like a typical problem with iCloud sync and Hookmark. Based on what I’ve seen, changes to existing links, like renaming or deleting them, don’t always spread because the sync engine only sees new links as “change” events. The backend hasn’t fully recognized edits or deletions as conflicts that need to be pushed across devices. A temporary fix is to make a small change to a link (like toggling a tag) after renaming or deleting it. This can sometimes force the sync. Definitely send support detailed steps so they can reproduce it. This kind of sync bug usually needs a fix on the communication layer between desktop and iOS.
I find, with all things, it’s quite useful to hold down on the Folder in iCloud and select “keep downloaded” on the devices you’ll be using it on. If you’re not already doing that, I’d say give that a go.
