I have schematics that I often link to the datasheets of parts, either PDFs on my system or URLs. For large PDFs the list gets quite long.
It would be really nice if if the page number of the destination PDF was recorded on the link paste from the source doc in such a way that when I open the hook list in the destination PDF I only see the hooks I pasted for that page.
With a large list of hooks I’m still really searching, but over a reduced set. By having the hooks associated with the page I’m on the set would be reduced even further.
I think this is the reverse of deep linking, but perhaps not.
