In order to use Hook deep linking as of now Hook requires the default app to be set as Skim or PDF Pen Pro. I just recently started using OpenIn.app as the default manager for opening PDF files and therefore Skim and PDF Pen Pro deep linking no longer work. If wonder if there is a way to keep deep linking enabled if Skim or PDF Pen Pro are activated using OpenIn.app (using OpenIn.app as the default app for opening PDF files)

Not sure if you found a solution for this since I have just come across this problem. Setting Skim as the default application works, but I would prefer to use OpenIn.app to manage my pdf preferences

I have not found a solution yet as OpenIn does not support Hook deep links. If you haven’t yet, please reach out to the developer of OpenIn and request that he supports them! Might also require some work on the Hook’s end too though so that’s why I posted on this forum as well.
