Outlook workaround

Reviewing this documentation

I’m unable to figure out how to implement the workaround so I can link to Outlook messages. Let’s say I got an email in Outlook today and I want to save a hook to that message — how would I use the workaround to do that?

Thanks!

Any word on this? My company is standardized on Outlook and it would be a big help to me to be able to link to individual Outlook messages, even if it requires an odd workaround.

Thank you for getting in touch, @MitchWagner .

Sorry the workaround described in Using Hookmark With Microsoft Outlook – Hookmark allows the users to see the info for old Outlook bookmarks, not a workaround for new Outlook. Hopefully, Microsoft will have AppleScript for new Outlook soon.

Just clarifying—no news one this?

Been forced to upgrade to the new Outlook, when search stopped working in the “classic” version.
It’s broken my Applescript method of getting my emails into Devonthink, but now realise Hookmark also doesn’t work.

Are we dependent on Applescript support for the new Outlook? There’s nothing in the form of a workaround, involving third party apps or tools and the like?
