Hello, I’m facing an issue with hook links pointing to mails in outlook. I had to delete my mail account from outlook and set it up again to fix some cache and spotlight issue.
But now I have the problem that all my hook links for mails in outlook, that I created over the years are no longer working. Is it possible to repair the old links preferably automatically.
The problem is that I would have to search all mails again in outlook and create a new link and have to find all destinations where I placed that old link and replace it with the new one. This practically not possible.
If I could at least update the hook with a new link then I would not have to replace the links in their places in other programs and notes. Because I actually do not know which link is where. That was the intention for the links whenever I run into a link I can click it and have the context that is needs at that point.
Do you mean on the same Mac, after you delete your Outlook account and set it up again, the same outlook mail will have different URL? Did you remove Outlook App or just delete account?
Are you still using classic Outlook instead of new Outlook?
I am using Outlook Version 16.107 (26030937) I am using the App in legacy mode since it has more functionality. I had poblems with the cache and had to delete the account without deleting the app. Afterwards I set the same account up again.
