Hi, I’m Josh, the developer of Notesmith, a local-only note app for Mac, iPhone and iPad, and Bibliome’s companion. it has an AppleScript dictionary, the same kind Bibliome got in September, so Hookmark can link to notes. could you add it to the integration scripts like you did for Bibliome?
the Get Address script is one line:
tell application id "com.langberg.privatenote" to get current note link
it returns a Markdown link to the selected note, title. the id never changes when a note is renamed or moved to another notebook, so a hook keeps pointing at the same note. Open Item needs nothing extra, since Notesmith opens privatenote:// links itself. with no note selected it returns an error, as your developer page asks.
until it’s in the bundle, you can add it yourself. in Hookmark, Settings > Scripts, click + under the app list, pick Notesmith, and replace the whole Get Address script with the line above.
tested with Hookmark 7.3.1.
