New User - Questions on Copy Link Shortcut

Not sure if this is a bug or not, but I’m misunderstanding the global Copy Link and Hook to Copied Link shortcuts. Are these suppose to work even if you don’t have the app up?

If so, these are not working for me on 3.5. After trying the Copy Link shortcut, nothing appears in my clipboard. Looking over Shortcuts Tab – Hook and https://hookproductivity.com/help/general/all-commands-shortcuts I don’t see anything explaining this.

Looks like it was some bug. I unchecked the boxes and restarted Hook and now it’s working.

Sorry for the trouble and thank you for letting us know!

Yes. There is a bug that sometimes needs restarting Hook to make the shortcuts work. The fix for this issue will be in next release.
