I shared this over on the Mac Power Users forum, and it seems to lower the friction for some people using Hook.
Since control+ shortcuts aren’t used very much in Mac apps, using Control+c, v, m, and h reduce the need to remember (and press) multiple modifier keys when copying and pasting Hook links.
Command-Control-Shift is very, very difficult for me on a UK keyboard. Not quite impossible, but so awkward that I don’t think I would ever use it under normal circumstances.
As to why the UK keyboard is so bloody stupid, well that is another question.
