Link to files in Notion?

I asked this question a while back. Didnt get an answer. May be something changed. Wanted to ask again.

I want to attach links to files in macOS. In Notion, I would like to put a link (not a download link saved in Notion cloud/AWS) to the Notion that saves the file in either OneDrive or my iCloud folder. I searched and tried a few different things, but I couldn’t find any easy way to do this. How can I accomplish this so that when I click on the link, it takes me to the file and ideally opens in macOS? Thank you.

I’m not sure I understand your question. But if you want to paste links to macOS files in Notion, you first have to copy the link to the file as a universal link:

Perfect. This is exactly what I was trying to do. Wasnt aware of the copy as universal link. It worked beatifuly.
