Hookmark Version 6.6 (6136) official release is now available [for download](https://hookproductivity.com/release-notes/hookmark-6-6) and as an in-app update.
Summary
IMPROVED: Made Contacts app links robust across devices using iCloud and across unsync and resync of iCloud data. This unfortunately will break prior hooks that were visible when invoking the Context window in the Contacts app. However, those hooks will show up in the RELATED items section of the context window, and the links to the existing contacts will still work. If you want to keep using the old hooks see the instructions online.
Several other enhancements and bug fixes
improved software integrations with Apple Mail, Logos Bible App, Craft, and Apple Calendar.
Hookmark 6.7, already underway, will have several enhancements, including the ability to search by multiple tags in the search field of the Bookmarks window. That will make the tags much more useful.
I’m getting inconsistent results, though. Seems to be a problem when I’m in parts of books that aren’t “versified” with the Bible - such as the Introduction.
I’ve not found any consistency as to when I get the “No likable item found” message.
Meanwhile, I encourage users of the Logos app to Contact the developers of Logos and request they make their app link-friendly. The reason Logos integration is hit and miss, and taking so much time, is that Logos is not link-friendly. It would only take the developer about 1/2 a day to implement this feature. If enough Logos users request the feature maybe we’ll get it.
Meanwhile, this month is the 3-year anniversary of the Manifesto for Ubiquitous Linking, which we will make an announcement about on Monday.
