Hookmark stops responding with Devonthink service active

Hookmark stops responding or is responding very slow if Devonthink is active as a service in Hookmark.

Steps to reproduce:

  • Devonthink is installed on the machine
  • open Hookmark
  • select Settings → Services
  • with the “+”-Button add Devonthink as a bookmarking app
  • activate “Enable bookmarking to this service”
  • close Settings dialog
  • open Safari, go to any URL
  • open Hookmark
  • press ⌘ C

Result: it takes a very long time until the link is copied to Devonthink and until Hookmark responds again

I can reproduce it with the latest Devonthink. Hookmark works fine with the previous Devonthink. That’s why we didn’t notice this issue. We will fix it.
