Hookmark integration v. 240 now available: Works with new Slack [and old Slack]

Hookmark integration v. 240 is now available.

This improves integration with Slack. Slack c. v. 4.23 broke integration. This version of Hookmark integration restores it, while maintaining backward compatibility.

NB: Slack is not a link-friendly app per se. It does not meet the meager requirements of the Manifesto for Ubiquitous Linking. Hookmark works around Slack’s limitations by using UI scripting. That is UI language dependent, which can easily be overcome.

How to get the updated integration

Hookmark’s automatic software update (if enabled) automatically updates Hookmark’s integration scripts without you needing to relaunch Hookmark. Using Hookmark’s Check for App Updates and Update Scripts command also updates the scripts, without you needing to relaunch Hookmark.

This requires a valid Updates license.
