Hookmark Finder extension prevents Finder icon overlay

I’m on Sonoma 14.1.1 on an M2 Mac mini. Hookmark 6.0.1 on Setapp.
When the Hookmark Finder extension is activated, the green checkmark Finder icon overlays disappear from Dropbox and Synology Drive synced folders. Deactivating Hookmark’s extension causes them to immediately show up, no log out or reboot required. Reactivating the extension makes them disappear.

Yes. I have Dropbox and Synology Drive that are involved. It could be a complex interaction between Finder extensions I suppose. Thanks for any ideas!
