Hookmark 5.0.2 Is Now Available: improved launch time, packaged integrations, and more

Hookmark Version 5.0.2 (5331; Integration v. 267) is now available for download from its release notes page and in-app update.

In this release: we improved launch time substantially, and we fixed a number of bugs. We’ve also rolled in a number of software integrations which you will have received if you enable automatic updates or check for them:

  • Added support for Kindle app, with deep links to specific locations in Kindle books. Also added support for Zavala.
  • Improved integration with BusyCal, Safari, Soulver and Xcode workspaces.

News! Keyboard Maestro integration will be released imminently as an in-app update. Enable automatic updates to get it automatically.

Eligibility for updates

This Hookmark update is free to any Hookmark customer with a valid Updates license of Hookmark or in valid Trial or Basic mode. Hookmark Pro and Hookmark Standard each come with one year of free access to updates.

I realize the “Show current item’s number of hooks in menu bar icon” preference is off by default, but thanks for getting rid of the counter altogether (instead of displaying a question mark) when there aren’t any hooks for the current item. It makes it much easier to tell at a glance what’s going on. I didn’t see anything about this in the release notes.
