Hook 1.3.3 is now available as an in-app update and from App Center. It is the first public version of Hook hosted on Microsoft’s App Center.
This page is currently showing up as “testing” on App Center. That is a growing pain with our use of App Center. The build itself is a production build.
Hook now works with three additional apps:
- Tinderbox. Integration is based on a script written by Rob Trew. Users who want linking with multi-item selection, please consult that forum topic for more information. Tinderbox is developed by Eastgate Systems. This was last updated 2019-12-19 (Scripts v. 96).
- MacJournal. Integration thanks to a script by David Brockley. MacJournal is developed by Dan Schimpf.
- Accordance. Integration thanks to a script written by Rob Trew. Accordance is developed by OakTree-Software.
New. There is a new advanced command
Show Links to Address in Clipboard. To see the Hook links associated with the first address (URL) in the clipboard, invoke Hook and use the keyboard shortcut,
- Fixed a bug where Hook couldn’t open Markdown-formatted links in Hook (.hook) files.
Thank you to everyone who provided information and/or integrations!
The Hook disk image is packaged using DropDMG by C-Command Software software: The easy way to create and convert Mac disk images (.dmg files).
And thank you all for using Hook and spreading the word about it.
