Hook link to a local folder paste in ClickUp opening in browser

Hi there!

I’m using ClickUp as my project management tool and would looooveeeeee to be able to put the link from the project folder (on my Mac) in the project description in ClickUp.

I can copy the Hook folder link and paste it in ClickUp without any problem. However, when I’m clicking the Hook link in ClickUp from browser (Chrome), it tries to open the link in a new Chrome tab instead of accessing the file locally. When I’m clicking the Hook link in ClickUp desktop app, nothing happens. Anyone had this issue and found a workaround?

Many thanks,

Actually I just made a test with Todoist in Chrome and it work.
So my question would be: Have anyone experience similar issue with other tool (Notion, Asana, Monday, Jira, etc.) and if so, is there a work around?

Were you ever able to figure this out by chance? I’m trying to link to files in Finder from the Asana app.

Have you tried the universal link?
