My issue isn’t quite the same but very similar. I use a MBP with an external display and Hook always forgets where it should on the external display after using my MBP on it’s own. It also only appears on the primary screen not the active screen. If it could behave like Alfred and appear on the active display that would also be a big help.

This is an older topic, but I recently started using a MacBook as a replacement for my iMac and when connecting to the external display after using the MacBook without external display the Hook window opens off-center. Would indeed be nice if this could be fixed.

We addressed the OP window positioning issue (and another one) in Hook 3.4, so I assume @zsbenke no longer has that issue.
Regarding:

This too is addressed. Hook will show up on the monitor where you last click, unless you do:

defaults write com.cogsciapps.hook hook.window.position.ignore.key-focus 1

I was able to replicate this issue. We’ll look into it.

I’m curious if there is any update in this, this issue still is present on my machine using the latest Hook version.
