Hook Version 1.0-beta (2058) is now available for download.

Fixed

  • Fixed an issue that (for some configurations) would prevent drag and drop from Firefox onto Hook’s menu bar icon from working. (Issue 3111)
  • Fixed a problem that could prevent AirMail links from being openable from Apple Mail or MailMate. (Issue 3176)
  • Fixed a problem that prevent “Link to New” from creating a new OmniFocus 3 task. (Issue 3109)
  • Fixed an erroneous message that occurred when AppleScript is disabled in Automation. (Was a recently introduced problem) (Issue 3160)
  • Fixed a couple of Hook crashes. (Issues 3154 & 3161)

Improved

  • Refactored email app handling: link normalization is now done by the customization scripts. (Per Preferences > Script Editor > <email-app>-“Get Address”). (Thus we also updated email app scripts.) (Issue 3143)
  • Encode AppleScript on file system for security reasons. Users can modify the AppleScript via editor. (Issue 3148)
