When I paste a Hook link into a document creation application such as Word, the font type and size changes. Is it possible to automatically change the settings of the link to match the font settings of each application?
There’s a global ‘Paste and match style’ command on Macs: Option-Shift-Command-V. See How to copy and paste on Mac - Apple Support. I haven’t tried this with Hook links, but it should work.

I tried the method you gave me and it worked in Word, but it failed in Scrivener, Tinderbox, and DEVONthink. If this problem cannot be solved technically, I guess I’ll have to give up.
