as a programmer, I’m quite often working with Eclipse, or variations thereof (e.g., DBeaver).
It would just be so great to be able to hook in between of lines of code.

Hi there, delayed response but Hook supports file level links in Eclipse. However, Eclipse has no API for deep linking as far as we know. It would be tricky because lines of code change, they would need a tagging mechanism, which would be difficult for them to do given its multi-language support. however, if they did we would revisit.
