When watching the demo video of Claude Cowork, one thing rushed into my mind: all the assistants that are going to throw around our files on our behalf are nice… but without Hookmark, you’re going to mess up all your links that you built to your files at places like Notion or Obsidian, and of course, a lot of other software.
Because, to be honest, there is no and will never be a Swiss Army knife of Personal Knowledge Management or corporate software that can serve all purposes… so linking back and forth will stay… so will the need for Hookmark. Except… one day, Apple shows up on Luc’s doorstep with a sack full of money… And he would have deserved that as well…
