Can't jump to the specific line on Bike

Hi there,

I’m using Hookmark 7.1 and Bike 2.0 (Preview 284) (a outliner software).

I came across the problem that I cannot jump to the sepcific line if I use contextual window to link files but everything is normal in Bike 1.0. I clicked the link on Hoomark or contextual window and then it would open the whole file…

Now if I want to link a specific line on Bike with other files, I need to get the row link on Bike and hook to copied link on the contextual window of Hookmark, which is a bit of a hassle.

I think the problem might be with the Hookmark script, but I don’t know how to fix it. Could you please to look into it? Thanks a lot.

Thank you for contacting us, @dnfoewu .

We will have a look. It seems the id of the same row from Bike2 is different than the one from Bike1.

I guess your current Bike URL from Hookmark 'Copy Link" is someting like “hook://file…”.

If you don’t have backward compatibility issue, you can use Bike URL by running the following command in Terminal:

defaults write com.cogsciapps.hook integration.bike.URL.scheme bike-default

Then you get the URL like “bike://QpT3KE-R/Ca”.

The problem with this is that you will can’t see the linked bookmarks which are associated with “hook://file…” URl.

Basically, a row in Bike can be represented with two different URLs. We have more information on this page:

Thank you

It turns out I don’t have valid license for Bike 2. After I renew the license, the “hook://file/…” URL for a Bike row can be opened to a specific row.

Also the Bike version is 2.0 Preview(284).

Thanks for your prompt response. I’m sorry I didn’t realize you had a webpage dedicated to Bike.
