Can't access Hook menu

Hi, I’m a new user. I’ve read the documentation. watched a couple of videos… and I can’t get the Hook menu to appear.

The shortcut Ctrl-Cmd-spacebar gives me keyboard emojis…

Have looked through the Keyboard prefs pane to see if there is a shortcut that conflicts, but I can’t see one.

I’m using a MacBook Pro mid-2012, latest Catalina

Suggestions…?

Welcome to the Hook Productivity Forum , @greiggy.

Have you tried ⇧⌘spacebar ? (Sometimes people post screenshots of their configs online after having changed the default).

You can see Hook’s keyboard shortcuts by clicking on Hook’s menu bar icon, > Gear button > Preferences> Shortcuts Tab – Hook.

or from Command line (Terminal.app): defaults read com.cogsciapps.hook

That’s got it! Thanks, Luc.
