Cannot invoke Hook window

After launching hook from application folder, I am unable to invoke the hook window via shortcut or menu bar.

Do you have SIP enabled? Hook requires that (it is the default). If not, what version of macOS are you using? Have you upgraded via Time Machine or a clone? Does it work in a different macOS account on the same machine?
