I really like the quote function (copy selection and link). However, I find myself adding inverted commas when I use it to make sure I differentiate other people’s writing from my own writing.
Say I have a document on Scrivener and I’m writing a draft about X. When I quote from a PDF about X, it appears as simple text (with the hyperlink below). However, as the draft grows messier, I’d like to see a clear differentiation between the quotation and my own notes.
A simple solution is to automatically add inverted commas when a text is quoted. This could be as single inverted commas (mostly used in British English) or double inverted commas (often used in US English).
Thanks!
