I enjoy using Hook. Unfortunately, I just discovered a major limitation. I am using Scrivener more these days. Scrivener is a writing app that uses Packages. As I am writing, I can use the Binder space to create separate writing spaces. This is a nice way to keep parts of the document separate and yet, they can all be seen together as a single document.
The problem with hook is that, I cannot Hook a scrivener doscument to a Hook file - and I really want to. To clarify, I can create a Hook link, but it will only be for that particular Scrivener text pice. For the Hook trigger to do any good, I would have to remember the exact Scrivener section I was in when I triggered the Hook connection.
Each Scrivener writing project is a single Scrivener document, but I can see how to make Hook recognize that this is a problem.
I have long wished for a Hook solution where you can save specific sets of links. Instead of trying to remember which file goes with which document, it would be easier - in some cases at least, to remember saved sets (and update those sets of course).
Some thoughts.
