Hookmark 7 product road map: better bookmarking, recommendations, AI and more

However, having the bookmark window default to the foreground keeps the application running, which creates some keyboard shortcut conflicts.

Is there any chance I can revert to the old mode where I could quit the Hookmark app and have the Menu Bar Icon function in the background? Currently, the Menu Bar Icon quits when I close the Hookmark app.

This can be done from the advanced settings panel

Thank you, Luc, for pointing it out. I was able to resolve my issue without reverting to background mode. I hope to figure out how to leverage the bookmarking feature and integrate it into my workflow.

super! One way is to take advantage of the Bookmarks window menu. It’s easier to access the Settings from there than the gear button, though I use ⌘, for that.

And you can alt-tab to access the Bookmarks window.

I find myself using the tags in Hookmark more and more. It would be nice to be able to hook right to a tag in the Bookmarks Window.

Not sure how hard that would be, or even if possible.

that’s not currently possible, but it is interesting. So we’ve taken this as a feature request.

There are quite a few improvements we want to make to tagging in Hookmark.

BTW, as an example of using Hookmark with web pages, I have hooked this page to the new bugzilla entry for this feature request.
