# Tip! Linking Obsidian notes to almost anything with Hookmark: a screencast

Hey Luc, another Beaudoin here. GREAT video – very helpful! It would be even more useful (to me) if you could extend this with a demonstration of how an Obsidian user might create a Hookmark note template — in order to include some standard properties or text in the resulting markdown note. I tried to figure it out from a two year-old conversation [here](https://discourse.hookproductivity.com/t/hook-to-new-obsidian/2910/30) but came up empty. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
