Startup option missing

Hello,

I just bought Hook. I have seen in the help that in the general tab there should be an option to load it when the computer starts. However, as in the attached screenshot, I do not have that option.

Any idea?

Welcome to the Hook Productivity Forum , @jfcg. We’ve removed that per https://hookproductivity.com/release-notes/hook-2-0 . So I’ve moved this to feature requests.

In our opinion now, the best place to do setup startup items is in System Preferences. We might put a link to that panel on Hook’s General panel.

Ok, thank you very much for the quick response. Should I drag the entire Hook application or just the Helper to startup items is in System Preferences?

By the way, at least I think it should be removed from the help for now, because for new users it is confusing:

following this: Open items automatically when you log in on Mac - Apple Support. Please just choose Hook.app wherever it is (but not in the disk image, i.e., please have copied the app to somewhere like /Applications/ )
