Hookmark producing different URL from NotePlan and not working when note name contains `&`

I’m having an issue with NotePlan: whenever I link (or hook) a note to another document, the link always takes me to a blank page when I try to open it in NotePlan. In other words, I’m unable to properly link notes or documents at all. Even if I don’t move the original note in NotePlan, the link generated doesn’t seem to work.

I evaluted a document this was breaking on and compared the URL generated by NotePlan:
noteplan://x-callback-url/openNote?filename=40-49%20work%2FAY25%2FAY25%20Fall%20SIPA%2Fassignments%20%26%20assessments%2FSIPA%20reflection%201.md

and for the same document by Hookmark
noteplan://x-callback-url/openNote?fileName=40-49%20work/AY25/AY25%20Fall%20SIPA/assignments%20&%20assessments/SIPA%20reflection%201.md

and I can see they are different. The NotePlan one seems to generate %2F for folders and a %26 for an ampersand. Barring renaming/restructuring my documents, is there a way to fix this on the Hookmark side? Haven’t encountered this with other apps in conjunction with Hookmark, so any solutions would be welcome. Could you please post the original file name here? We will try to reproduce the problem.

What’s your NotePlan version and Hookmark version?

I tried the NotePlan Setapp version. So far it seems to be working fine.

Thanks. Actually, I don’t think anything changed, but when I checked again to respond to this post, everything seems to be working.

For what it’s worth, the file name is simply SIPA reflection 1

Otherwise, it’s Hookmark 6.3 and NotePlan 3.13.2.

I guess if it it seems to happen again, I’ll circle back to this discussion. Thanks.
