A reminder that you can enable Automatic Script updates in Hook > Preferences > Script Editor. And you can click “Update Now”.
Today we updated a Things script. Recently, we updated OmniFocus, Airmail and MailMate scripts.
We haven’t been posting Hook forum entries for each script update on Hook’s script server.
- We will soon setup a web page where we will post script release notes.
- we will also add revision numbers and last modified dates to each script in Hook’s Script Editor pane.
When we update a script, the update tends to go first on the script server, and also in the Hook app itself. The script server enables us to frequently update scripts , without the user needing to reinstall the entire app. (But users can disable automatic script updates if they choose)
