# Does it have to pinned?

Hello all

I am regular user to Hookmark, whcih I have had on my computer for a year. I love it… Its great.

I do have one question if I may. Is it possible to have the bookmarks open up to the Bookmarks tab rather than Pinned?

Just asking…

Welcome to Hookmark forum, @deljones .

Yes, you can. Just run the following command in /Applications/Utilities/Terminal:  
defaults write com.cogsciApps.hook bookmark-window.default-view all

Then restart Hookmark.

I used this previously, and it worked perfectly. When I tried it again today, nothing changed. Is there another way to achieve the same effect?
