'Deep link' to a pdf doesn't open the pdf file

Hello everyone.
I hope you can help me with this problem.

I am trying to use the ‘Deep link’ to a page or position within a pdf, with no application I have managed to make a successful link (Apps used: Preview, PDFexpert, Skim). The only thing I get is that Hook opens a Finder folder with the location of the PDF.

I appreciate your help.

The Reveal hook://file link targets in Finder (rather than opening them) checkbox in Hook > Preferences> General needs to be disabled for deep links in files to be used. That checkbox is irrelevant to hooked links (the one in the HOOKED section of the Hook window).
