# Cannot Unpin Specific Bookmark

Hello
I have a number of pinned bookmarks. Of those, one in particular seems impossible to remove. Even if I “Unpin” the bookmark it still remains in the list. What might cause this?

We’re currently looking into an issue with pinning that may be related to what you’re seeing. Did you by any chance rename the item?

I did not rename this particular item but I did rename others recently.
Perhaps related, I wound up with two identical pinned items which differed only by http:// vs https://. That seems seemed to set off the issue when I tried to unpin one of them.

Is this still an issue? if so, are you sure you’re using the unpin command as opposed to ⌘DEL? the `unpin` shortcut is `⇧⌘P`.
Also, if you try export/import, it should fix issues with pins. That is per: [Renaming pinned bookmarks - #4 by LucB](https://discourse.hookproductivity.com/t/renaming-pinned-bookmarks/2647/4)
At the moment, if you are syncing Hook bookmarks between devices, you might need to repeat on other mac and turn off sync on both machines (This is not confirmed, but would be a precaution for this issue.)
we also recently optimized Hook window which improves performance with Pinned section (reported elsewhere).
