- If thought is selected in the centre , hook selects it properly
- For the same thought if it’s note is being edited . hook gives an error
Brain 12 doesn’t have AppleScript commands for linking; so Hook relies on UI scripting. I imagine what must be happening is that the menu entry is not available in those circumstances.
A feature request to the Brain dev to make their app linkable would be the most general solution. Some pointers for them:

We’ve found software developers can add an API for linking within a day, so it wouldn’t be much effort for the Brain developer. They could use AppleScript, x-callback-url or anything else that is reliable. Hook is not fussy.
