# Allow to save Hook Notes to same folder a hooked file

I’d like it if, using a different shortcut, I could tell Hook to “Hook to New” and save the corresponding note not in the default folder, but rather in the same folder as the file that I am “annotating” (i.e. to which I am hooking a note)
